All emails we receive or send from gmail have a unique hidden ID, a sequence of numbers and letters that could be used to track it later. The problem is that this identifier does not appear in a simple way, so it is not very useful on a day to day basis.
What they intend with the extension that we present today is to help show the unique ID of each email in the menu of each email, as shown in the top catch, being possible to copy it with a single click and then paste it wherever we want .Download the extension from here
The ID that we copied is the same one that appears when we select the option to "see original message". If we use a template to record the important emails of each conversation (approved budgets, pending tasks, etc.), we can quickly access the information using the gmail search field itself, as shown in the presentation video:
The problem with this type of extensions is that they request permissions to access our inbox, something necessary in this case to be able to read the ID of each email, although it is still risky to give so much power to a plugin.
Another possibility is to add the email with the option "Quick link" that can be activated in the own Gmail, although it does not offer functionality of classification of content, being a somewhat chaotic solution.
