The tough Nokia 3310 has been the protagonist of thousands of jokes during the last years, all with the same common factor: praises to its resistance and to its battery.
Almost 17 years after its launch, in 2000, Nokia plans to re-launch the device at the MWC to be held within two weeks in Barcelona, as they have learned at Venture Beat, and it will surely be a success.
According to reports, unofficial, the phone will be sold for 59 euros, and will be offered with the same characteristics as in those times: resistant and battery that lasts several weeks. The mobile is not smart, of course, but still it's still being sold through third-party channels like Amazon or eBay. Many may want to buy it to always have a terminal that serves to make calls and play Snake, without having to have Whatsapp and other applications.
Nokia will present another three phones in the MWC. Everything points to the Nokia 3, 5, and 6 will run Android 7.0, with prices ranging from € 150 to € 250.
Nokia, which is not the same company that launched the 3310 in the year 2000 (only the name remains, since it is the Finnish HMD Global who is behind the brand), is determined to return to being relevant, and the 3310 is a number that always draws attention.
